Established in 2009 by a collaboration of TESOL professionals, ITTA is dedicated to supporting the international TESOL industry.

ITTA is an independent non-profit association founded to serve the professional development needs of ESL educators internationally.

ITTA provides an accreditation system for TESOL/TEFL/ESL/TESL educational institutions and programs internationally.

ITTA is funded by membership and accreditation fees, a portion of which is used for the development of professional development activities and resources.
